Description of Organization:
CGA Nova Scotia is a professional accounting body representing the Certified General Accountants in the province of Nova Scotia. The Association's mission is to effectively guide and support our diverse membership of dedicated accounting professionals within a framework of public trust. As a self governing organization, incorporated under the CGA Act of Nova Scotia our role is to promote and encourage the continuing improvement in the status of CGAs.

Description of Membership:
CGA Nova Scotia represents 400 members and 375 students. As a professional organization we are responible for ensuring that our membership meets the requirement of the Code of Ethical Conduct. The three classes of membership are Regular Member, Retired, Inactive. Students must also adhere to the code of ethical conduct. The Association also is responsible for representing the interests of the Association and its membership at the local, regional and national level with other affilate organizations and government bodies.
