Description
We have proposed a Civil Enforcement Act. This proposed act is based on legislation from BC, AB and Ont. This piece of law, if passed, would see additional commercial law reform in civil enforcement proceedings - inturn bringing NS up to par with the rest of the county. It would also see protection of the public, which is now non exsistant by providing rules & requlation for civil constables operating in the province and preventing unappointed, untrained individuals from performing civil enforcement duties. If passed the Police Services Act would be repealed.   View
Our activities will countinue to involve lobbying for the passage of our proposed Civil Enforcement Act and to provide ongoing educational matter to our membership and public to enhance the industry.   View
