Senior Abuse Awareness Day
Premier Rodney MacDonald proclaimed June 15, 2008 Senior Abuse Awareness Day in Nova Scotia. Here is the text of the proclamation in English and French:

The Department of Seniors issued a news release on Senior Abuse Awareness Day to mark the occasion.
Awareness Activity Contributions
The Department of Seniors is pleased to support a number of community groups in their efforts to raise awareness of senior abuse. The following groups have been awarded a contribution this year:

- The Indo-Canadian Senior Group of Nova Scotia
