New Excluded Employee Classification System October 05, 2009 Deputy Premier Frank Corbett today, Oct. 5, announced a new classification and pay plan for the 1,800 provincial government managers (MCP) and administrative support (AS) staff who are not represented through collective agreements. Province, NSGEU March for Diversity at 2009 Pride Parade July 24, 2009 The government of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union will be breaking down walls and building bridges on Saturday, July 25, when they march for diversity in Halifax's Pride Parade. Government Employees Affected by the Fire in HRM April 30, 2009 Provincial government employees affected by the fire evacuation in the Halifax area today, April 30, are not required to be at their workplace until the evacuation has ended.
