Learning Event
The Public Service Commission held its 2nd Employee Recognition Learning Event for Recognition Committees on September 17, 2008 at the Waegwoltic Club. More than 60 recognition committee members from all over the Province attended the event.
The event kicked off with a welcome address from Deputy Minister Judith Ferguson, followed by a presentation of corporate employee recognition tools, a panel discussion with Joel Baltzer, Rick Alexander and Debera Fougere on employee recognition best practices, a networking opportunity, and finally, a keynote speech from Dr. Michael Leiter.
The event was such a big hit that participants have requested for another event in 2009. The next learning event will take place on May 13 at the Waegwoltic Club.
