Caregiver’s Corner

Sunflower Family Caregiving is one of the most important roles in a person’s life, but a role for which most individuals are unprepared.

Being prepared to care for aging parents, an ill partner, or a child with special needs is worth a lot.

If you are a caregiver or anticipate becoming one, you may be interested in the Family Caregiving & the Workplace courses being offered by the NS Public Service Commission in partnership with CareStrategies.

"Family Caregiving & the Workplace" Upcoming Course Dates

Topics for this course include - Caring for you, communication, financial/legal issues, long-term planning, relationships, and development of a caregiver’s plan. Resources are provided. Participants are also encouraged to bring along 1 guest who may accompany them to the course.
