Effective December 1, 2022, the Municipal Finance Corporation Dissolution Act repealed the Municipal Finance Corporation Act and dissolved the Corporation, transitioning its assets, liabilities and employees to the Province under the Department of Finance and Treasury Board.

Spring 2022 Debenture Issue
On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation priced its Spring debenture. Eighteen municipalities and three municipal enterprises participated in the issue which totalled $97,467,190.00. The debenture closed on May 17, 2022.
