Nova Scotia is too good to waste. With regulations and a provincial strategy for managing solid waste, we're wasting less, recycling more and reaping the environmental, economic and social benefits.
Waste-Resource Management Branch is responsible for a number of initiatives including recycling, composting, disposal, and the Nova Scotia Solid Waste Strategy.
Nova Scotia Environment is sponsoring the Fourth Canadian Waste Resource Symposium, 14-16 April 2008, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
