Trade Promotion
We work with a variety of partners including industry, municipalities, federal and provincial government departments, universities and associations. Our goal is to make Nova Scotia a one-stop shop for environmental solutions. To achieve that goal, we provide a broad array of services to the sector including:
- Export counselling and business advice
- Trade promotion
- In-market support
- Referrals
- Trade shows/expositions
- Organise incoming and outgoing missions
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
In addition to the above, Environment and Labour has a number of MOU's with countries such as Trinidad and Tobago, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Lucia. The most recent is a MOU (PDF: 42k) between the department and the environment departments of member countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States signed in 2004.
