Environmental Trade and Innovation
The Environmental Trade and Innovation Branch was created in 1995, when it was known as the Environment Industries and Technology Division. As then, our mandate remains to support and promote environmental industries, innovations and technologies. The focus was to identify and facilitate the commercialization of sustainable environmental solutions.
Our support extends to solutions that address waste, air and water quality, renewable energy, and various management systems.
Environmental Trade and Innovation is the government's lead agency for development and use of environmental solutions from Nova Scotia businesses.
