Tarponds Provincial Response
The Minister of Environnment and Labour accepted all the recomendations from the Joint Review Panel including the approval of the Environmental Assessment for the Sydney Tar Ponds and Coke Ovens Remediation Project.

Forty of the 55 recommendations from the Panel were directed at the Department of Environment and Labour. Our response to the recommendations and a copy of the Environmental Assessment Approval can be found in the provincial response document.
