After nearly two years of consultation and discussions, Ship Harbour Long Lake Wilderness Area is now designated under the Wilderness Areas Protection Act.
Thank you to all those who participated in the process to have this special natural area protected. We look forward to hosting a public event later this Fall to celebrate this new wilderness area, and recognize the contributions of all those who played a part in leaving this legacy for Nova Scotia.
