Integrated Pest Management

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a means of keeping pest damage below unacceptable levels. This is done by regularly looking for pest problems and managing them by using a combination of preventive practices and carefully selected control treatments. IPM is based on the principle that a combination of strategies is more effective in the long run than reliance on a single strategy.
