The Nova Scotia Environmental Assessment Board has completed its review and submitted its Report (PDF: 3.8mb) to the Minister of Environment and Labour on February 21, 2007. The Minister now has 21 days to make a decision on the Undertaking. The Minister's decision options include:

The Minister has granted that extension, and the deadline has now been extended from December 20, 2006 to February 21, 2007.
This is to advise that Keltic Petrochemicals Inc. has made a change to its proposed Liquefied Natural Gas and Petrochemicals Facility Project at Goldboro. The proponent informed Nova Scotia Environment and Labour on June 16, 2006, that it now intends to exclude the construction of a 54 km 2 lane highway from the project.
Keltic Petrochemicals Inc. proposes to construct and operate a Petrochemical Complex supported by a Liquefied Natural Gas importation and vapourization facility and an electrical co-generation plant.
