We invite you to join the Environmental Assessment mailing list. Members of this mailing list will receive notification of new environmental assessment project registrations and Ministerial decisions. All notices will be archived for up to 6 months.
To subscribe to the Environmental Assessment mailing list, send an e-mail message with your name in the body of the email to join-ea@lists.gov.ns.ca
You will be sent a confirmation message, to which you must reply in order to be subscribed.

Users of the Environmental Assessment mailing list should be aware that this mailing list is not to be relied upon as the sole means of notification for environmental assessment registrations.
Official notification of a Class 1 undertaking will be given in one local and one province-wide newspaper within 7 days of the project registering for environmental assessment. Official notification of a Class 2 undertaking will be given in the Royal Gazette, and in one local and one province-wide newspaper within 12 days of the project registering for environmental assessment. Notification of registration will also be posted on the Environmental Assessment Branch website as soon as possible after registration.
