Description
This is to advise that on September 9, 2011, CleanEarth Technologies Inc. registered a soil and wastewater treatment facility for environmental assessment, in accordance with Part IV of the Environment Act.
The purpose of the proposed undertaking is to provide services to remediate soils or materials containing contaminants classified as waste dangerous goods and treat industrial wastewater at the CleanEarth Facility located at 203 Aerotech Drive, Goffs, Nova Scotia. If approved, the project would commence in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Minister's Decision
On October 28, 2011, the Minister of Environment released a decision concerning this review.
The Minister has determined that the registration information is insufficient to make a decision on the project , and additional information is required in accordance with clause 13(1)a of the Environmental Assessment Regulations, pursuant to Part IV of the Environment Act.
