Action Plan
To achieve the objective of better regulation, the CCI is directing its efforts through five strategic streams:
- Regulatory Framework - improving how the department designs, administers and enforces laws
- Science Strategy - using the most up-to-date scientific and technological information
- Learning Strategy - training to ensure consistent delivery of quality regulatory programs
- Compliance Promotion - improving awareness and understanding of laws, and how to comply with them
- Regulatory Improvement - reviewing regulatory tools to make them simpler and more effective
