The virtual exhibit presented here features, in digitized format, several photographs taken at the time of the Titanic disaster, plus a variety of records documenting the recovery, identification and disposition of several bodies retrieved onsite and brought into Halifax. The latter documents form part of the records of the Medical Examiner, City of Halifax and Town of Dartmouth (1895-1967), which office was involved in the Halifax-based response to the Titanic catastrophe.

The miscellaneous items presented here provide information for William Carbines, John F.P. Clarke, Nicholas Nasser, Leopold Weisz, Ramon Artagaveytia, William Carney, William H. Harbeck and Alfred Rowe. The Medical Examiners' reports for Ramon Artagaveytia and Alfred Rowe are the only two such documentation files known to exist for victims of the Titanic.
