Book bound by Minnie S. Prat : William Bradley, The Book of Ruth and The Book of Esther (New York, 1897)

Inscription on facing of inside back cover: "Bound by Minnie S. Prat in September 1899." The book is bound in hand-tooled leather, with an exquisite design of poppies and wheat on both front and back covers. It appeared as an illustration in an article on Minnie and May Rosina Prat, "Book-Binding as a Fine Art," in Harper's Bazaar, 1900. It was one of the books for which Minnie won a silver medal at the Paris Exposition of 1900.
