Areas of activity include:

- reference service for NSARM archival and library holdings

- operation of NSARM Library

- provision of copy-typing and data-entry services for NSARM

- coordination of public-order reproduction services

- development and delivery of NSARM public programs and archival outreach activities

- development and coordination of Volunteer Services
