BookWorm is a searchable online catalogue describing selected holdings from the Library at Nova Scotia Archives and Records Management. It is NOT a complete catalogue for the collection, but it currently includes over 20,000 entries, capturing what we know are the most popular research areas within our Library.
Please note that NSARM Library holdings do NOT circulate and are only available for onsite use. If you're unable to visit NSARM in person, try your local library for assistance in determining if the item you want is held elsewhere and available through Interlibrary Loan services.
You can search BookWorm in its entirety (over 20,000 entries) by using the Search Box above — or, since the NSARM Library has some interesting sub-sets, you can isolate and explore certain areas of the collection separately:
All new Library acquisitions are included in BookWorm, which is growing over time as we also gradually convert existing card records to electronic format.
The remainder of the estimated 50,000 titles in the NSARM Library are available via the Library Card Catalogue in the Archives Reading Room. All items not designated 'Self-Service' must be requested by Request Slips; items are retrieved during weekday open hours only (or by pre-booking).
