H1N1 Immunization Campaign Expanded
Published Thursday, November 5, 2009
Nova Scotia's H1N1 vaccination campaign has been expanded. Dr. Robert Strang, the province's chief public health officer, says people 19 or younger with chronic medical conditions for which they receive regular medical attention, including morbid obesity and women who have just given birth and their partners will now be eligible to receive H1N1 vaccine.
Quotes
“Like other provinces and territories, we targetted our immunization campaign last week based on a national vaccine shortage. Now, we're able to offer vaccine to more of those people who are most at risk of severe illness.

“If you're in one of these priority groups, I urge you to get vaccinated against H1N1 as soon as possible. If you're not, I ask for your patience and your understanding.
