The Cobequid Pass is now open.

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal continues to advise motorists to take extra precautions due to icy conditions in Cumberland and Colchester Counties. Roads are passable with caution. Plows are on the road.

Due to weather conditions Highway 104 is closed from Truro to Amherst. Cape Breton bound traffic will be permitted to travel eastbound. 

Highway 102 is closed from Robie St, Truro to Highway 104 westbound.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Burns Bridge 

The Burns Bridge on the Shinimicas Road, 4.4 kilometres north of the intersection with Highway 6, is closed for repairs.

A marked detour route, will guide drivers around the construction area. Drivers in the area should use extra caution and obey all signs and personnel.

Work is scheduled for completion Friday, Feb. 24.
