A toll-free line for information on H1N1 (human swine influenza) in the province has been established. The hours of operation will be 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., daily.

The toll-free line within Nova Scotia is 1-888-451-4222.

The toll-free line will give Nova Scotians every opportunity to get the information they need and to make decisions about their own health care. Making this toll-free line available is another way to keep people informed about the H1N1 (human swine influenza).

The best way to avoid illness is through prevention. Wash your hands thoroughly and often, cough into your sleeve and stay away from public places if you are sick.
