Civil Servants Involved in Evacuation Excused From Work

Provincial government employees affected by fire evacuation this weekend and have difficulty coming to work Monday, June 16, are not required to show up for work.
"This has been a very difficult weekend for all citizens in the area of the fire and we are hopeful that there will soon be relief for residents, firefighters and volunteers," said Carolyn Bolivar-Getson, Minister of Human Resources.
Employees should contact their manager as soon as it is convenient.
