
The Large Mammals Program is responsible for the effective development, implementation and evaluation of management programs to maintain populations of white-tailed deer, moose and black bear at biologically and socially acceptable levels and to allocate appropriate and equitable uses of these wildlife resources in a manner beneficial to the people of Nova Scotia.
