* In 2007, 1,222 bear hunting report forms were returned to DNR and used for calculation of estimated hunter harvest. Of the 1,222 returned report forms, 314 indicated “did not hunt.”
Estimated snaring harvest was based on 153 returned bear snaring report forms. Of these, 46 indicated “did not snare.”
