Land
Services Branch The land mass of the Province of Nova Scotia is comprised of approximately 12,000,000 acres of which 3,500,000 acres are administered and controlled by the Department of Natural Resources as Provincial Crown land. In addition, the Department administers submerged lands along the Province's 9,000 km of coastline. The Land Services Branch is one of the four branches of the Department of Natural Resources and provides service, advice and leadership on all land related aspects of the Department's mandate. The Land Services Branch is responsible for the provision of land related services and the administration of approximately 20 statutes. The Land Services Branch is headed by an Executive Director and includes the Land Administration Division and Surveys Division. The Land Services Branch management:
