Prizes

The provincial winner receives a major prize, as well as an attractive laser engraved plaque and a large wooden sign to post on the woodlot. Regional winners receive a handsome pine sign with routed letters.

As well, a scoring axe donated by Earle Tanner, the 1991 provincial winner, is kept at the DNR office closest to the provincial winner. It acts as a trophy for the award.
