Goals

The intent of the award is to:

  • recognize and reward landowners for outstanding stewardship of their woodlots.

  • encourage woodlot owners to practice sustainable woodlot management.

  • increase public awareness of the importance of private woodlots in Nova Scotia and good woodlot management.
