Rocks and Minerals in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia's geological past has created a variety of rocks and minerals for students to explore. This program is designed to increase children's awareness about the role that rocks and minerals play in our daily lives.

The forests of Nova Scotia are an important renewable resources. To ensure that this resource is maintained, it is necessary to manage our forests through sound forest management. This program is designed to assist students in understanding the complexity of the forest resource and their role in ensuring that the forests are sustainable.
