A New Forest, The Next Generation
(Gr.3. - Gr 4)

Designed to increase children's awareness of the forests around them and allow their innate curiosity to help them discover how trees grow and what living things need to grow.

Products from a Sustainable Forest
(Gr.5 - Gr.6)

Designed to increase students awareness about how sound forest management will continually produce quality forest products while maintaining our present standard of living.

Rocks and Minerals in Nova Scotia
(Gr.5 - Gr. 6)
Nova Scotia's geological past has created a variety of rocks and minerals for students to explore. This program is designed to increase children's awareness about the role that rocks and minerals play in our daily lives.

Sustainable Forestry

The forests of Nova Scotia are an important renewable resources. To ensure that this resource is maintained, it is necessary to manage our forests through sound forest management. This program is designed to assist students in understanding the complexity of the forest resource and their role in ensuring that the forests are sustainable.
