Important Points

• Much of the area in zone 2A is developed and occupied and, therefore, unavailable for hunting. Where hunting is possible, it is strongly recommended that hunters seek landowner(s) permission for access.

• Some phone service providers place an automatic block on all 1-900 calls. If you experience difficulty when calling the application line, contact your service provider to request that the 1-900 block be removed.

• Hunters are encouraged to donate some of their deer meat to Hunters Helping the Hungry; a joint initiative of Feed Nova Scotia and the hunting community. Hunters wishing to contribute meat should contact a participating meat cutter (see page 45 of Summary Booklet).

• Individuals hunting during the Special Open Season for Bowhunting Deer and the Special Youth Season are exempt from requiring a zone 2A Antlerless Deer Hunting Stamp

• Antlerless Deer Hunting Stamps are not transferrable or refundable.

•Bonus Deer Hunting Stamps are available this year for zone 2A only. A bonus stamp allows the holder to harvest a second deer (buck or doe) in zone 2A only.

Eligibility: Holders of a zone 2A Antlerless Deer Hunting Stamp or persons hunting during the Special Open Season for Bowhunting or Special Youth Season for Hunting Deer are eligible for a Zone 2A Bonus Deer Hunting Stamp if:
a) they have legally harvested an antlerless deer in zone 2A and
b) provide proof of having registered that antlerless deer
