Did you know that 25 per cent of workers in Nova Scotia are represented by a union? Unionized workplaces have unique needs, are governed by their own Acts and Regulations, and fall under the jurisdiction of specialized tribunals like the Labour Relations Board and Constructions Industry Panel. Labour and Workforce Development offers a range of services for both labour unions and management. Our goal is to foster harmonious working relationships, help to resolve conflicts, and promote and deliver quality training and services.
