Policy Division
The Policy Division is responsible for the coordination of policy and planning for the department, including legislative review and policy development; preparation of ministerial and deputy briefing material; research and policy analysis; and departmental liaison for national or international issues.
Public Consultation Papers
Nova Scotia Labour and Workforce Development remains committed to consulting the public on all proposed legislation, regulations and significant policy statements.
Current Consultations
There are several public consultations currently underway including discussions on the Internal Responsibility System, pensions and technical Safety.
