Business Services
The Business Services section of the Information and Business Services division provides the administrative services that support the internal needs of the Department's office locations throughout the province. Business Services delivers the following internal services:
- Plans for and administers office space needs in conjunction with the Department of Transportation and Public Works.
- Coordinates the vehicle fleet purchases.
- Coordinates the department's furniture and equipment inventory.
- Provides reception services for the Department's head office in Halifax.
- Receives all internal mail and courier delivery services.
- Addresses security and safety issues relating to the building facilities of the Department.
- Administers the Department's telecommunication services.
- Coordinates the purchase and maintenance of office equipment, furniture, stationery supplies and computer supplies.
