Film & Video

Films and Videos are classified to help you decide if a particular movie is suitable for you and your family. These classifications provide you and your family with an opportunity to make more informed viewing choices. Theatres and retail video outlets are required by law to enforce the age limitations.

Video Game Rating

In April 2005, the Province of Nova Scotia approved amendments to the Theatres & Amusements Act.

These amendments provide for the adoption of the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) classification standards for video games.
