Investigation and Enforcement Branch

The Investigation and Enforcement Branch of the Alcohol and Gaming Division is responsible for regular inspections of approximately 5,000 licenced premises throughout Nova Scotia, including travelling shows, festivals and special occasion licences.

This branch also conducts special assignments to ensure that the Acts and Regulations pertaining to gaming, liquor and amusements industries are complied with.

The branch also provides surveillance at the Halifax and Sydney Casinos.
