An Act to Amend Chapter 379
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Public Trustee Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 (1) Subsection 8A(1) of Chapter 379 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Public Trustee Act, as enacted by Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2008 is amended by adding "or the delegate named in a personal directive has decided to accept an offer of placement in a continuing-care home or regarding provision of home-care services" immediately after "services" in the fourth line.

(2) Subsection 8A(3) of Chapter 379, as enacted by Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2008, is amended by adding ", by a delegate named in a personal directive," immediately after "provider" in the third line.

(3) Subsection 8A(5) of Chapter 379, as enacted by Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2008, is amended by adding "or pursuant to a decision of a delegate named in a personal directive to accept a placement in a continuing-care home or the provision of home-care services" immediately after Act in the ninth line.

2 Section 14A of Chapter 379, as enacted by Chapter 4 of the Acts of 2008, is repealed.

3 Section 2 comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
