Explanatory Note

This Bill restricts the decline in available services at retail gasoline outlets to ensure that persons in need of special assistance have access to automotive services such as the pumping of gasoline and the checking of fluid levels, tire pressure, wipers, hoses, belts, et cetera.

An Act to Amend Chapter 1
of the Acts of 1994-95,
the Environment Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 82 of Chapter 1 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Environment Act, is amended by adding ", 83A" immediately after "83" in the first line.

2 Chapter 1 is further amended by adding immediately after Section 83 the following Section:

3 (1) Subsection 84(1) of Chapter 1 is amended by adding immediately after clause (s) the following clause:

(2) Section 84 is further amended by adding immediately after subsection (1) the following subsection:
