An Act Amend Chapter 6
of the Revised Statutes, 1989,
the Agriculture and Marketing Act

Be it enacted by the Governor and Assembly as follows:

1 Section 2 of Chapter 6 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Agriculture and Marketing Act, is amended by

(a) striking out "Marketing" in the second line of clause (a) and substituting "Fisheries"; and

(b) striking out "Marketing" in the second line of clause (b) and substituting "Fisheries".

2 Subsection 3(1) of Chapter 6 is amended by striking out "Marketing" in the first and second and in the third lines and substituting in each case "Fisheries".

3 Section 5 of Chapter 6 is amended by adding "(1)" immediately after the Section number and by adding the following subsection:

4 The headings immediately preceding Section 47, Sections 47 to 53, the headings immediately preceding Section 54, Sections 54 to 70, the headings immediately preceding Section 71, Section 71, the headings immediately preceding Section 72 and Sections 72 to 75 of Chapter 6 are repealed.

5 The headings immediately preceding Section 119 and Sections 119 to 138 of Chapter 6 are repealed and the following headings and Sections substituted:

6 The SCHEDULE TO PART IV of Chapter 6 is repealed.

7 This Act comes into force on such day as the Governor in Council orders and declares by proclamation.
