September 2009 - House of Assembly -- The Fall Sitting of the House of Assembly began on September 17, 2009, with the Speech from the Throne.

September 2009 - looseleaf consolidation -- Release 30 consolidating the statutes to June 30, 2009, is now available from Nova Scotia Government Publications.

June 2009 - House of Assembly -- The 1st session of the 61st General Assembly began on June 25, 2009. The House sat for just one day and elected a Speaker and deputy speakers and appointed a striking committee to establish the membership of the standing committees.

January 2009 - Legislature Internal Economy Board Regulations -- The consolidated regulations now include the 2008 amendments.

April 2006 - proclamations -- Proclamations now date from February 22, 1990 (instead of May 18, 1996) to date. February 22, 1990, is the date the Revised Statutes, 1989, came into force.

March 2006 - statutes in French / lois en français -- An unofficial French translation of the Education Act (Lois sur l'éducation) is now available. As well, any available bilingual statutes and unofficial French translations are also accessible from a new page -- Lois en français.
