Building and Plumbing Code Amendments

NOTICE is hereby given that amendments to the Nova Scotia Building Code Regulations (the Building Code) made pursuant to the Building Code Act, Chapter 46, R.S.N.S. 1989 have been prescribed by me, the Honourable Marilyn More, Minister of Nova Scotia Labour and Advanced Education, to come into effect throughout the Province of Nova Scotia on September 1, 2010.

These amendments add new minimum requirements for spray applied foam insulations to two existing tables, and update information on Air and Vapour Permeance Values of an expanded list of construction materials to the Appendix Notes.
