Welder

Background:

The Apprenticeship and Trades Qualifications Act and General Regulations were proclaimed on July 1, 2003. Subsequently, all existing trade regulations need to be reviewed to ensure they meet the needs of industry under the current Act. The Board established an ad hoc advisory committee in March 2008 to review and make amendments to the Welder trade regulation.

Purpose:

To review the existing trade regulations for Welder and propose any amendments to the regulations to the Apprenticeship Board.
