Sheet Metal Worker

Background:

On January 21, 2010, The Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association Local 409 and Local 56 submitted an application to specify the Sheet Metal trade as compulsory certified in Nova Scotia.  The application was reviewed by the Coordinator of the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Board and on March 17, 2010 the Board made a recommendation to strike an Ad Hoc Advisory Committee (AHAC) to review the application further.
