The 12th Apprenticeship Celebration event was held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Membertou Trade and Convention Centre, Membertou.
-184 new Journeypersons and their guests in attendance.
-16 individual sponsors sponsored the event.
-Alfie MacLeod, MLA brought greetings from the province.
-Two Mentor/Coach Award of Excellence winners: Brian Jessome, Ralph Ivey’s  Auto Repair and Ray MacLean, NSCC Carpentry Instructor.
-Apprentice Award of Excellence winner:  Kathy Lantz Ralph Ivey’s Auto Repair.
