Events

Apprenticeship Celebration Events are hosted by the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Board and are funded by industry. Events are hosted twice each year with the Fall event taking place within the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) and the Spring event rotating at different locations throughout the province. The Apprenticeship Celebration Event honours newly certified Journeypersons who have successfully completed their apprenticeship training and obtained a certificate of qualification in their chosen trade.

Employer Breakfasts are hosted by the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Board twice each year. Our Breakfast event provides an opportunity for employers to learn more about Apprenticeship Training. The event starts with a complimentary breakfast, followed by introductions and employer champions as guest speakers. The second half of the session is interactive, where participants get into smaller groups and have a round-table discussion about how we can engage more employers in apprenticeship training.
