Employer Engagement Breakfast

October 16, 2009 - Truro

On October 16th, 2009, 15 employers from the Pictou, Colchester and Cumberland area gathered at the NSCC Truro Campus for an Employer Breakfast. The event was sponsored by the Apprenticeship Board as part of the Board’s strategic plan to engage more employers and educate them on the benefits of apprenticeship training.

Employers were given the opportunity to provide feedback through a survey and round table discussion. Out of the 15 employers who attended, 12 participated in the survey and the majority of respondents were from the automotive industry.
