Boat Builder
Background:
On January 27th, 2005 the Nova Scotia Boatbuilders Association (NSBA) submitted an Application to designate Boat Builder as trade under the Apprenticeship and Trades Qualifications Act and General Regulations. The Board established an ad hoc advisory committee in January 2007 to develop a new trade regulation for the Boat Builder trade.

Status:
During the September 2007 Board meeting, a draft regulation for the Boat Builder trade was presented before the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Board. The Board accepted the recommendation. The regulation is currently under legal review.
