The Department of Justice has a Division that brings together Information Technology, Library Services, Records Management, Information Access and Privacy, Policy Planning and Research, and Business Improvement Services professionals to support the Department and overall justice system in Nova Scotia. Each of these service areas work closely together to leverage one another's strengths and capabilities and to maximize their effectiveness.
As a division dedicated mostly to internal services (except *FOIPOP), much of what we do is behind the scenes and invisible to most of the public. Rest assured, however, that we are working hard to support the important work of our Justice clients who help to maintain the safe and healthy communities that make Nova Scotia the envy of Canada and the world.
