Adult Corrections Action Plan Updates
On December 18, 2008 the Department of Justice released the findings of an external audit on the corrections system ordered last April after the mistaken releases of inmates. The audit, conducted by the management consulting firm Deloitte, contained 51 recommendations as part of its comprehensive review on the policies and procedures of correctional facilities in Nova Scotia.
An Action Plan was prepared by the Department to address these recommendations. Bulletins detailing the progress of implementing the Deloitte Report will be posted here.
